Paul Banwell is a Plastic Surgeon from Oxford, UK. He graduated from St
Mary's Hospital Medical School in London in 1992 having also studied for a History
of Medicine degree at the Wellcome Institute. Awarded his Fellowship from the
Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1996, he was subsequently appointed as
the inaugural Duke of Kent Research Fellow with the Stoke Mandeville Burns &
Reconstructive Surgery Research Trust. Since this time he has maintained an active
clinical and research interest in Reconstructive Surgery and Wound healing and
has published and lectured worldwide on these subjects. This has culminated in
setting up the Odstock Burns, Wound Healing & Reconstructive Surgery Charitable
Trust which now has a wide and active research programme. Previously he has served
on the Editorial Committee of the British Journal of Plastic Surgery (SRTC Representative)
and is a reviewer for the Cochrane Wounds Group. |
