Doctor Luc Téot is Associate Professor of Plastic Surgeon involved in Wound Healing and Burns at the Montpellier University Hospital. He received a PhD in research on resorbable biomaterials . He is directing the Ambulatory Wound Healing unit in Lapeyronie Hospital in Montpellier. He is founding member and present President of the French Wound Healing Society, President-Elect of the European Tissue Repair Society President-Elect of the World Union of Wound Healing Societies. He has a special interest in education and promotion of wound healing all over the world and in reconstructive and resurfacing techniques in surgery, a topic on which several chapters and books were written under his coordination. He organizes as Deputy Chairman the IInd WUWHS Meeting in Paris in July 2004. He is member of the Editorial Board of Wound Repair and Regeneration( Editor Europe) , of the Journal of Wound Care, Acta Vulnologica, Journal des Plaies et Cicatrisations,The International Journal of Lower Extremity Wounds.
